About Us

The Mauritius Telugu Cultural Centre Trust (MTCCT) was set up under Act No. 4 of 2001 on 28th May 2001 operating under the aegis of the Ministry of Arts and Culture.

 

VISION & MISSION

Our vision is to have a sustainable development of the Telugu Art, Culture & Language in Mauritius and we have for mission, to seek and impart the rightful place of the Telugu Art & Culture in the diverse Mauritian Culture.

 

OBJECTIVES

  1. To preserve and promote Telugu Art and Culture
  2. To promote the study of Telugu
  3. To manage the Centre
  4. To collect, publish and disseminate information pertaining to Telugu Art and Culture
  5. To organize lectures, seminars, training, workshops, exhibitions and any other activities which will lead to a better understanding of Telugu Art and Culture
  6. To create facilities for documentation and research on Telugu Art and Culture
  7. (To establish useful links with organizations engaged in similar activities locally and internationally
  8. To undertake any other activity which is cognate to the achievement of the above objects.
